This morning I foraged the last few roses and dahlias from the garden. These two beautiful plants have bloomed their hearts out and I am sad to say goodbye to them for the winter. The dahlia bulbs were a Mothers Day present from our Seattle kids and I can not believe how fast they grew and what prolific bloomers they have been. The roses have been in our garden for several years and I have to say....they have been a bit neglected. I am thankful for their heartiness and their ability to return every year with abandon!
So long beautiful blooms.......sleep well......and I will see you again in the spring.
Thanks for stopping in today! I hope your day is a little brighter.
Hugs to you,
